Ranch Style Casserole

 

Serves:  8

2 cups lentils, rinsed 1/2 cup ketchup
1 pkg onion soup mix 1 TB Soya sauce
4 cups water 1 tsp prepared mustard
1 tsp vinegar    
1 lb lean ground beef    
14 oz can kernel corn    
1 TB oil    
5 - 1/2 oz cans tomato paste    

 

  • Simmer lentils in 1 quart water for 30-40 minutes or until tender.  Drain.

  • In skillet, brown meat in oil.

  • Place all ingredients in casserole and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour or in a slow cooker for 4-6 hours; adding water as required.

Recipes freezes well.
